Yes, iPhones after Xs supports eSIM, your device must be carrier unlocked and some devices from Mainaland China or Hongkong are only physical SIM devices, so they don’t support eSIM. Go to Settings> Mobile Service and check if their is add eSIM option, just to confirm.

Superhero eSIM provides data only. You can use iMessage, WhatsApp, or similar apps to send messages and make calls. We currently don’t support text & calls, but we are planning to launch them soon.
You start to consume your data plan as soon as you activate data on roaming when you arrive at destination. So, if you purchased a 30-day plan, you will have 30 days’ worth of data after activating your eSIM at the destination (not installing it).
Superhero eSIM offers its customers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your trip got canceled or you bought an eSIM without checking device compatibility, you can submit a request for a refund within 30 days. The request may take 5 to 10 days to process. Yes, you can use an eSIM and a physical SIM at the same time. If you are using a device that offers eSIM compatibility, you will have the option of choosing primary SIM for calls & texts and secondary for data. Both will work at the same time.
Yes, login and go to manage eSIMs and it’ll show you all the previous eSIMs and remaining data of the current eSIM you are using.
You should install and your eSIM before departure. Installation can also be done after you arrive, but you will need WiFi to set up, so it is best to do it before you leave. And activate the data when you arrive at the destination, it’ll start working instantly, and consumption will start after that.
- Make a purchase on the Superhero website.
- Check email for QR code.
- Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Add Data Plan.
- Scan the QR code.
- Set up a name for the data plan.
- Switch between eSIM and physical SIM.
- Upon arrival, turn on data roaming and activate Superhero data plan.
