Yes, iPhones from the Xs onward support eSIM, but your device must be carrier-unlocked. Some devices from Mainland China or Hong Kong only support physical SIMs and don’t support eSIM. To confirm, go to Settings > Mobile Service and check if there’s an ‘Add eSIM’ option.
Top up options will be offered soon. Currently, we will notify you when your data plan is about to end, so you can purchase a new eSIM. Since, the eSIM is data only, the experience will stay the same.
Superhero eSIM provides data only, allowing you to use iMessage, WhatsApp, or similar apps for messaging and calls. We don’t currently support traditional text and calls, but we plan to launch these features soon.
You start using your data plan as soon as you activate data roaming at your destination. If you purchased a 30-day plan, you’ll have 30 days of data starting from when you activate your eSIM at the destination (not from when you install it).
Superhero eSIM offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your trip is canceled or you purchase an eSIM without verifying device compatibility, you can request a refund within 30 days. Processing may take 5 to 10 days. For cancellation, please contact Customer Support for more information.
Yes, you can use an eSIM and a physical SIM simultaneously. If your device supports eSIM, you can choose which SIM to use as the primary for calls and texts, and which one for data. Both will work at the same time.
Yes, log in and go to ‘My eSIMs’ to see all your previous eSIMs and the remaining data on your current eSIM.
You should install your eSIM before departure. While installation can be done after you arrive, you’ll need Wi-Fi to complete the setup, so it’s best to do it before you leave. Activate data when you arrive at your destination; it will start working immediately, and data consumption will begin from that point.
- Make a purchase on the Superhero website.
- Check the App for QR code.
- Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Add Data Plan.
- Scan the QR code.
- Set up a name for the data plan.
- Switch between eSIM and physical SIM.
- Upon arrival, turn on data roaming and activate Superhero data plan.
